FINDINGS, CONCLUSIONS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS

The General Assembly – Senate had one finding relating to TA-2 forms not being filed. We will review progress toward the implementation of our recommendation in our next audit.

A response to the recommendation was provided by Linda Hawker, Secretary of the Senate.

We conducted a compliance audit of the General Assembly - Senate as required by the Illinois State Auditing Act. We have not audited any financial statements of the General Assembly - Senate for the purpose of expressing an opinion because the agency does not, nor is it required to, prepare financial statements.
