In-Person Vendor Conference

Illinois State University Alumni Center – Room 116

1101 N. Main Street; Normal, Illinois 61761

2:00 p.m. on January 31, 2017

30 minutes

Mr. Nugent led a discussion among the potential bidders attending the vendor conference about the scope and timing of the Fiscal Year 2017 and Fiscal Year 2018 engagements of the University.  We discussed the U.S. Department of Education’s proposed 14th Special Test and Provision for the Student Financial Aid Cluster and how that may impact the University’s Single Audit.  Afterwards, Ms. Bahnsen gave a general overview of the functions of the University Comptroller’s responsibilities for coordinating the annual engagement and the resources provided to the external auditors by the University while the auditors perform the annual engagement.  The forum was then opened for questions and comments from the potential bidders with the University’s response.  After the bidders had no remaining questions for the University, the vendor conference was concluded.
